How It Works:
Classes are ongoing weekly all school year long.  Students will attend a 90 minute session every week.
✓ Students begin at Level 1 in each fiber art and progress by completing projects that build on core techniques
✓ As they grow in confidence and skill, students can earn Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 badges in each craft
✓ Projects are student-selected from a curated library designed to match skill levels and spark creativity

Why Families Love It:

FAQs

Is this class ongoing? When does it start?

You can enroll in our studios & arts collectives at any time. Classes occur weekly. When you sign up, your tuition will be prorated and refunded for the number of classes that have already occurred in a month.

The weekly classes run from September 1 to May 31. Our program is designed to be an ongoing journey where skills are built over time. You pay monthly, and may cancel at anytime. However you must cancel your membership by the 20th of the month prior to your cancellation.

Can Parents during class?

When parents/guardians are present students tend to be quite distracted and less focused. You are welcome to check in on your child but it is important that this is an independent journey. We also do not provide any seating for parents.

How does tuition/membership work?

Tuition & Materials fees are charged together on the 1st of each month and reserves your child's seat in class. We charge the same tuition every month even though some months may have more classes and some may have less. December will be prorated due to closing for the holidays. Tuition is not based on attendance and isn't prorated for missed classes. If space allows, students may attend other timeslots to make up missed classes.

What Will We Be Making?

In the after school and homeschool programs, students get to choose their adventure in crocheting, knitting, embroidery, needle felting, or cross-stitching starting at a basic beginner level 1. They can progress through different levels and earn badges they go. They can crochet one week and cross-stitch the next - they decide what's most interesting to them.

What Does the Supply Fee Cover?

Students will receive supplies from a designated pool of new hooks, needles, yarns and kits they can use for nearly any project they choose. If they would like to use yarns or kits outside of these materials, there may be an additional cost that we would discuss with them and you before proceeding. Students may bring their own materials as well but it does not waive the monthly material fee.

My student know nothing about fiber arts, will they be able to start at the very beginning?

Yes, we expect students to start at the very beginning and grow their skills and confidence over time.

My student already knows how to crochet / knit / embroider, etc Is this the right class for them?

We expect each student in the class to work to their level and progress as their skills progress. When students are confident enough, they can complete an independent project to receive a badge and move to the next level of complexity in any of the fiber arts.
