Guide arm is very flimsy, not very sturdy overall

I previously had a yarn winder from another company that was much more sturdy (my niece accidentally broke it) It was in a similar price range to this one. I saw this one in a youtube video and it looked comparable. But it really isn't - in particular the guiding arm is very flimsy and does not stay in place unless the yarn being wound is coming from a very particular angle. Also you must thread the yarn through the loop, there is no way to remove it once you start without cutting the yarn.
